I am writing to express my interest in the internship program with your IT and Hardware
sector. I learned about the Spectral through searches into a breakthrough in electronics sector and,
after visiting your website, I have immersed myself in your work.

I am currently majoring in Electrical Engineering, with minor in Electronics, and will receive my
degree in 2020. While I have a background in electronics, my emphasis is on IT applied to the
energy production and management. I feel that Spectral has similar areas and having the privilege of
serving as an intern will increase my learning opportunities and give me the exposure I need to
advance my career while using what I’ve already learned to make an impact on your clients.

I previously developed EasyGrid, a startup focused on Renewable Energy using cryptography to

make the transactions between local producers and consumers possible. During 2018, I had the
opportunity to learn how blockchain impacts transaction and how IoT has been shaping the world.
We focused on a flexible platform to deal with intermittency and to offer support for the
enhancement of local renewable energy production within the city centers. The experience with
EasyGrid improved significantly m knowledge on Smart Meters/PCBs and protocols to connect
data of consumption to API.

At the end of the year, we pitched our idea to Scandinavian investors, an experience that taught me
self-control and communication skills.
