ABSTRACK

This study aims to determine the characteristics of Marshall in AC-WC concrete asphalt
mixture with the addition of a variation of 0%, 6% and 12% latex to the total adhesive. The
stages of implementation include preparation of tools and materials, such as mixing
aggregate, 60/70 penetration asphalt and natural rubber (latex). Based on research
conducted, obtained the characteristics of a mixture of AC-WC with a variation of asphalt
content of 4.5%; 5%; 5.5%; 6%; 6.5%. Stability values are obtained as follows 855.04 kg;
894.12 kg; 875.24 kg; flow: 3.17 mm; 3.22 mm; 3.29 mm, Marshall Quotient: 270.40 kg /
mm; 277.60 kg / mm; 266.60 kg / mm, VIM: 6.43%; 4.58%; 2.81%, VMA: 14.04%;
14.54%; 15.15%, and VFA: 54.25%; 68.58%; 81.40%. The addition of natural rubber to
the AC-WC mixture showed better Marshall stability values, indicating that asphalt added
with latex caused the asphalt to become stronger. High flow values, better marshall
quotient, lower VIM values, better VMA values and higher VFA values.
