I am a diehard Democrat, but when Kingston endorses someone, I vote

for the other guy. If you make to the General election, I will vote
Republican.

There's a clip online of Idaho's lieutenant governor being interviewed

about her speech to a convention of white nationalists. She would not
answer questions like, Did you not even bother check who the
convention organizer was?? (Answer: A damn White Nazi Republican).

Instead, she ended the interview and walked off.

That's what Mr. Sommerman, and now you, have done. You did not look,
read, do political backgrounding, etc. before the endorsement was asked
for. Mr. Sommerman could have campaigned without this endorsement,

and his wife have done to me, before you replied to my message.

Mr. Adelman,

I consider conflating Kingston (who can be offensive and a bad actor in

the public sphere at times) with white nationalists to be exciting
rhetorically, but also a willful exaggeration and misrepresentation of his
character. Further, when you conflate my initial response to your
complaint to acting just like the Idaho Lt. Governor, it indicates a lack of
seriousness to your complaint.

I have been well aware of your history with Kingston and marginally
aware of your activism since that heated period with the Kingstons prior
to you reaching out to us. Honestly, I found you to be the more
sympathetic party in the saga with the Kingstons. I sent you our personal
cell phone numbers to have a conversation about your concerns out of
respect to you and because I have found that personal spontaneous
dialogue to be more constructive in similar instances than the exchange
of processed speechifying in emails.

It seems you are not interested in an actual dialogue on this matter, so

we won’t take up any more of your time about this. If you have other
concerns about issues in the district in the future, please don’t hesitate to
reach out.

It’s a poor example because it doesn’t connect well at all to our response
and the situation itself. It creates more confusion than it clarifies.

By the way, since you previously accused me of not doing my research

before responding, I do have have to say you are the one guilty of that in
this interaction. A simple FB search of my name will indicate that I am not
a “Ms.” A google search is a little trickier because it tends to assume one
is trying to google my wife, Tina. However, doesn’t it seem odd to accept
that a sitting elected judge was working as campaign staff for candidate
in defiance of the Texas Code of Judicial Conduct? My point being that if
you had taken a breath and actually took up the offer to have a
conversation, a lot of assumptions could’ve been pushed away.

teeth’ in local politics under the infamous Frank Rizzo.

I did not like him on a personal basis (and yes, I met him many times in
my role as a student activist), but he had great street sense.

Rule #1 – Turning the ‘other cheek’ only hurts your neck.

Rule #2 – When in doubt, refer to Rule #1.

Moving off of Lower Greenville killed my wife – literally and physically.

Maybe you can forgive and forget, but I won’t.
