It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Nayza McDaniel. I have known Ms.
McDaniel for three years. She was a scholar athlete training in the discus and shotput.

During this time period I was able to observe her work ethic. She was one of the most driven
student athletes that I trained. Her attention to detail was impeccable as she strived to perfect
her technique. She is a team player and always willing to help others. She takes constructive
criticism well and is coachable.

As a result of Ms. McDaniel’s dedication to her education my wife and I hired her as a tutor three
hours a week. During this time she helped our child with English language arts and
mathematics. Since she began tutoring our child, our child has improved dramatically in both
English language arts and mathematics. She is always punctual and communicates well when
she is unable to attend a scheduled tutoring session. She has a great ability to meet the child
where they are at and help build confidence.

Regardless of what road Ms. McDaniel chooses she will excel at whatever it is that she is
focused on. I wish her well on her future endeavors. She will be a quality employee and I have
no doubt one day an administrator.
