D i s cussion : It has b e e s n o t e d that it is necessary t o provide
a specific type governor drive c o u p l i n g with reference
t o the type engine on which it will be i n s t a l l e d , For
t h i s reason i t has been decided a l l Yttt y p e governors
manufactured from this date on will have a coupling
t h a t is'acceptable on all installations.
Recommended
Action: I. A t overhaul or soone-r if p o s s i b l e , all governors
i n s t a l l e d on engines with a propeller-governor
drive gear ratio t h a t is not 0947:I will have to
incorporate a d r i v e gear i d e n t i f i e d as in t h e
illustration below.
2. AT1 governors with a propeller-governor drive gear
r a t i o of 0 9 4 7 : ~ I lbe acceptable ~ i t ah coupling
as illustrated or one which has no i d e n t i f i c z t i o n
marks at a l l ,
