Base on Clause 2 Article 17 Decree no 143/2017/NĐ-CP December 14,
2017, regulations on protection of marine structures by the Government;
Base on Clause 3 Article 22 Decree no 58/2017/NĐ-CP May 10, 2017 of
the Government detailing a number of articles of the Vietnam Maritime Code on
management of maritime activities;
Base on Decision no 395/QĐ-CHHVN March 23, 2020 of the Vietnam
Maritime Administration on the publication of a list of periodic survey and
marine notices of specialized navigational channels, specialized transport
anchorages and water areas in front of ports;
Following the direction of the Vietnam Maritime Administration,
Maritime Administration of Vung Tau informs and requests your business as
follows:
1. Report on construction and approval of plans to protect marine structures
basing on Clause 2 Article 17 Decree no 143/2017/NĐ-CP December 14, 2017,
regulations on the protection of marine structures and the periodic survey and
publication of notices to maritime waters in front of the port by the Government
base on Clause 3 Clause 22 Decree 58/2017/NĐ-CP May 10,2017 of the
Government, Decision no 395/QĐ-CHHVN March 23, 2020 of Vietnam
Maritime Administration
2. For enterprises that have not yet done so, it is necessary to urgently
organize the implementation of the construction, approve the plan to protect the
marine structures and periodically survey to announce the maritime notice of the
water area in front of the port base on the regulations, after completing the report
on the results to the Vung Tau Maritime Port Authority.
3. Enterprises are only allowed to put vehicles and equipment into survey
activities or diving underwater activities in the waters in front of the port when
they were approved by the Maritime Administration of Vung Tau. During the
operation, they must strictly comply with the legal regulations on maritime
safety; maritime security; occupational safety; fire and explosion prevention and
fighting and environmental protection.
Maritime Administration of Vung Tau announces and requests Enterprises
to seriously implement. Report documents and related documents are requested to
send to Maritime Administration of Vung Tau (56 - Tran Phu - Vung Tau City)
