“m.A.A.d city” by Kendrick Lamar is talking about the city where Kendrick was born – Compton, USA.
Through the lyrics, I can imagine that Compton during 1990s and later back was such a crazy, violent
and mortal place. Kendrick mentioned lots of guns, murders, crime that he and two gangs which are
Crips and Bloods made in the past. As I can know from the song, the gangs in Compton City killed
each other due to territory problems, drug trades and many more. Along with the aggressive,
violence vibe of the song, I draw a picture as above. In the picture, the background is the buildings
representing for a city which is Compton. Moreover, I draw the shooting scene for showing the
problem of Compton mentioned by Kendrick in the song.
