ABOUT THE SYSTEM
 This site will be developed in PHP(Magento framework).Magento is open source E-

commerce software created by Varien which is a website for selling cosmetics. In
thissiteanycompany canregister their product and if the admin of the site approves the
registration than and only than company can start selling the product on this website. If any
fashiondesigner wants to sell their cosmetics product on the website than it can be possible.
For that, they have to register their product and company on website and if the register is
approved by admin than they can sell their product on site. Ex.If Javedhabib wants to sell
their product than he have to register the company and the product than he can start selling
product on the site. After registration or login Customer can buy the cosmetics on the site and
place the order, write a review, read blog and perform many task related to them.
 Useful for online business. It has flexible modular architecture. Developed by Varien Inc.
and released on March 31, 2008.The backend of this site is MySQL Database.

 PHP:-
PHP started out as a small open source project that evolved as more and more people
found out how useful it was. RasmusLerdorf unleashed the first version of PHP way
back in 1994.
 PHP is a recursive acronym for "PHP: Hypertext Pre-processor".

 PHP is a server side scripting language that is embedded in HTML. It is used to
manage dynamic content, databases, session tracking, even build entire e-
commerce sites.
 It is integrated with a number of popular databases, including MySQL,
PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, and Microsoft SQL Server.
 PHP is pleasingly zippy in its execution, especially when compiled as an Apache
module on the Unix side. The MySQL server, once started, executes even very
complex queries with huge result sets in record-setting time.
 PHP supports a large number of major protocols such as POP3, IMAP, and
LDAP. PHP4 added support for Java and distributed object architectures (COM
and CORBA), making n-tier development a possibility for the first time.

MySQL is a fast, easy-to-use RDBMS being used for many small and big
businesses. MySQL is developed, marketed, and supported by MySQL AB,
which is a Swedish company. MySQL is becoming so popular because of many
good reasons:
 MySQL is released under an open-source license. So you have nothing to pay to

use it.
 MySQL is a very powerful program in its own right. It handles a large subset of
the functionality of the most expensive and powerful database packages.
 MySQL uses a standard form of the well-known SQL data language.
 MySQL works on many operating systems and with many languages including
PHP, PERL, C, C++, JAVA, etc.
 MySQL works very quickly and works well even with large data sets.
 MySQL is very friendly to PHP, the most appreciated language for web
development.
 MySQL supports large databases, up to 50 million rows or more in a table. The
default file size limit for a table is 4GB, but you can increase this (if your
operating system can handle it) to a theoretical limit of 8 million terabytes (TB).
 MySQL is customizable. The open-source GPL license allows programmers to
modify the MySQL software to fit their own specific environments.

A. Existing System
 An existing cosmetics system is work manually or physically. In this system the
Different brands of the cosmetics or fashion designer have their shop on different

location so if customer wants to buy the cosmetics of the particular brand or of any
fashion designer they have to wandering on the brands store or fashion designer’s
store so it may be time consuming for the customer. For the success of the shop the
company needed the shop on the good location, well staff, well service, good
behaviour to the customer, reasonable price of the product, Varity of products,
good marketing, attractive promotion etc. Sometime it not possible to get good
location for the shop so it is drawback of the company for the sell. Product details,
staff details, salary details, bills and all other information is record manually and on
paper so the system is complex, time consuming for the paperwork, need a space to
maintain all records, protection for the records this all is drawback for this system.
For transfer the product to different location travelling expense is increase so this is
another drawback of the system.
B. Proposed System
 For solve the problem or drawback of the existing system we create and manage
cosmetics system online. In this system the all brands and the cosmetic product of
fashion designer is available on the one place
 Registration and Login
 This module record basic information related to customer and the company
which is collected when the customer and company visit the website for the first
time .Each customer and company is allocated a unique E-Mail ID.
 This module also record basic information related to fashion designer which is
collected when the fashion designer visit the website for the first time each
fashion designer is allocated a unique E-mail ID.
 This module also provides facility of login into the website for the existing
company, customer and fashion designer for the new customer, company and
fashion designer first they have to go with registration and after they will be
login. After the login the company, customer and fashion designer perform the
certain task related to them.
 Customer, Company and fashion designer are login by their E-mail Id and
password.
 The guest can login directly in the site if guest like to order the product on the
site than they have to register on the site.

 This module record the details of the product like product name, price, product’s
company name, stock of product and give the unique product identification

 Search process
 This module provide the facility of search the product by name of the product,
name of the company and by the categories.
 Search is also done with the Filter and sort features.
 Filter the product base on categories, brand, price and colour and sort product as
price high to low, low to high, newest item first and the new arrival.
 Order
 In, this module facility of buying the product is provided to the customer and
this is maintained in transaction log.
 Customer can buy any product that company is put on the website for selling.
 This module also provides the facility of selling the product of company and
fashion designer and this is maintain in transaction log. Company can sell any of
cosmetic products that company is register on website for selling.
 This module also provides the facility of maintaining the list of favourite
product of customer at the one place on website this list is call as wish list.
 When the customer not takes action on this wish list than customer is notify by
the email or SMS. And notify when the sale or discount on this product is start.
 Customer can also put the product in cart by the feature name add to cart.
 This module also store the information related to the order and give the unique
order identification number. Store information like order id, delivery address,
customer name and contact, type of payment, Current status.
 Customer can track the order after they place order.

 Company deliver the order to the customer from the nearest place where the
product is available so the transfer cost of product is decrease
 This module also provides the facility of payment to the customer and gives the
unique payment identification number. Information in this is related to the
option of payment which is selected by the customer, Payment amount, Payment
date, Customer name and their bank a/c number if the payment is done through
check, Debit/credit card etc.
 Customer can also cancel the order and they get refund their in bank a/c only.
 This module also provides facility for returning the product to company and give
unique return identification number.

 This module provides facility to the customer which is useful to get concession
on the total bill of the customer.
 This offers, deals, discount is provided by the company or the admin of the
website.
 This rate is decide based on the current market and change dynamically by
admin
 Promotion
 This module provides for the advertisement of the product on the website which
is helpful for increasing sell of the company. Promotion is based on top rated,
top featured, most demanded etc.
 Promotion is done and make by the admin according to the review and ratings.
 Company can contact to admin by the email for the promotion.
 Contact Us
 This module provides facility to customer for contacting the company or admin
for their inquiry, query and complain. Method like call, email, messenger etc.
 Notify process
 This module provides facility for notifying the customer for providing news,
sales information etc. This is done by news latter subscription feature.

out for determining whether the proposed system is possible to develop with
available resources and what should be the cost consideration.
 The basic idea behind feasibility study is to determine where the project is feasible
or not.
 Feasibility is conducted to identify a best system that meets all the requirements.
 The main objective of the feasibility study is to test the Technical, Economical and
operational for adding new modules and debugging old running system.

 Elite cosmetics and Fashion Designer’s system developed in PHP Magento. So
we need Magento framework.
 Elite cosmetics and Fashion Designer’s System required internet connectivity.
 In existing system error can occur that error solve in new system and more new
features are added in the system
 In existing system having problem it can solve by technical feasibility.
 512 MB ram is enough.
 Tools: Web browser and internet connection.

 All the above mentioned technical requirements are available with us ; hence

 Economic feasibility looks at the financial aspects of the project.
 Economic feasibility is concerned with returns from investment in a project. It
determines whether it is worthwhile to invest the money in the proposed system.
 Economic feasibility is the systems where the users have economic to this
system the agency have to provide the required software.
 The proposed system is economical feasible as it removes manual work, reduce

the manual mistakes, decreases number of people working.

remove manual work, reduce the staff, reduce the record maintaining so it is
economical feasible.
 Even system is on server so you are being a user of a system no need to

purchase it. Hence Elite cosmetics and Fashion designer’s system is a
economical feasible.
 The software used for develop is also open source so the elite cosmetics and
fashion designer system is economical feasible.

 Operational Feasibility determines how the proposed system will fit in the
current operations.
 This system user friendly from graphical user interface (GUI) point of view and
also proposed functionalities are feasible from the development point of view.
 Users are understood or able to work with the system, so it is a flexible.

user.
 User can manage or operate easily as well as simple for ordinary people that
have basic knowledge of computer.
 We put the help center for any query and inquiry and for better understanding

mandatory or desirable.
 The proposed system is web site so it will take less time to satisfy the objective
of completing the system
 A project will fail if it takes too long to be completed before it is useful.
Typically this means estimating how long the system will take to develop, and if
it can be completed in a given time period using some methods like payback
period.
