TASK 3: A CIRCLES AND TWO TRIANGLES.

(ADAPTIONS )

TO MAKE UNDERSTANDING OF THIS PROBLEM EASY:

TEACHER WILL BE GOING FOR ANALYTICAL APPROACH:

WE WILL DISCUSS SOME EASY CONCEPTS BEFORE APPROACHING SOLUTIONS.

Teacher will be discussing/ DISCUSS EACH POINT SEPARETLY.:

1. Radius and Diameter

2. When u change angle between same radius .only angle changes

not Radius.

3. Isosceles Triangles. How we can find other two same angles.

4. One property : ANGLE AT CIRCUMFERENCE IS 90 WHEN THE

BASE OF TRIANGLE IS DIAMETER.

5. Supplementary angles.

* Each of above concepts will be discussed with explanatory

examples.

When above 4 concepts are discussed separately .Students will be able realize all together in
problem.

Benefits : Connecting dot approach.

: Recall of Concepts again & again.

Now coming to the problems:

How above points will help:

What would remain same with different angle?

(Point 3 will be utilize)

What would happen if you moved R to another place?

Answer : (Angle PQR will be change as Point 4 will becomeS invalid)

Also Angle POQ and QOR will lost their supplementary status (point 5 become invalid.)
TASK 3: A CIRCLES AND TWO TRIANGLES.(EXTENSION )

1. what will be angle R when QO is extended TO OQ’ (Q’ on to be

circumference just opposite to Point Q) and Q’R forms a line segment.
2. What will be angle Q if R coincides with P.?
3. With continuation of question 1.what will be angle Q’.
