Safety engineer, modeling and programming modeled engineering using Excel VBA and C# at
CypherCrescent Limited strongly matches your set responsibilities for the Excel/ VBA/C# Developer job
role, especially in the area of carrying out out extensive research and development on Mathematical
optimization, linear algebra and petroleum using Visual Basic (VBA) and Excel macro for the
development of Structured, Engineering Presentation and Analytic Leverage (SEPAL) Software’s
(Trademark of CypherCrescent Limited) and performing several optimization algorithms and integration
to Petroleum engineering systems and thereby benchmarking solutions obtained with the model

I have a Higher National Diploma (HND) and Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Mechanical
Engineering, both obtained from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria and University of Port
Harcourt, Nigeria respectively. I have worked as Optimization engineer, Excel VBA and C# developer,
Petroleum Research and Safety engineer at CypherCrescent Limited. I was able to:
+ Research and programmed several gradient-based and probabilistic algorithms using Excel VBA and C#
language and integrated into the company proprietary software's for production operations and
optimization, analytics and network flow optimization

+ Implement and integrate several optimization algorithms and compiled optimizer engine into SEPAL
Well and Reservoir Facility Management (WRFM) proprietary software application. Collects production
data, performs data

analytics with the software, reports observations and makes recommendations for quick decision
making or possible improvement.

+ I act as a member of Petroleum and Mathematical Optimization algorithms researchers where I

implement a robust linear system algorithm to drive SEPAL Business Forecasting Solution (BFS), an
application for oil network flow optimization, generation of realistic business forecasts without
prioritizing any stream while respecting business, subsurface and facility constraints.

+Prepared HSE Policies, conduct risk assessment and detection of near miss, routine check for unsafe
acts or conditions, coordinate monthly Health and Safety drill exercise and administration of several
onsite trainings of employer and employee on HSE topics: “Safety Awareness in workplace”, “Risk
assessment”, “Workplace Hygiene” and others.
