BARS Program Manual Ver 9 and Auditor Guide Ver 6

1. Introduction

The BARS Program Manual (BPM) Ver 9 and the Auditor
Guide (BAG) Version 6 have completed the drafting and Effective Date: 01 Aug 2021
review process and are now released for use within the Expiration Date: TBA
Program.
Supersedes:
2. Scope and Applicability Distribution:
This BN applies to all relevant parties, Audit Companies, AO ATO
Auditors, Member Organisations and Aircraft Operators in AC Other
the BARS Program. The BARS Program Manual Ver 9 and the
Auditor Guide Ver 6 are effective 01 Aug 2021. BMO

3. Details
The BPM describes the structure of the BARS Program and defines the Program rules and the responsibilities
of all Program participants. The BPM Ver 9 main amendments include Program-Connect, SODS Consulting,
Auditor Rotation Policy, and other program services. The BPM Ver 9 has been uploaded to the BARSoft
Documents Tab and the previous BPM Ver 8 removed.
The Auditor Guide Ver 6 main amendments include instructions for FSF-WFP Program, SODS, DTR and BCE.
The BARS Auditor Guide Ver 6 has been uploaded to the BARSoft Documents Tab and the previous BAG Ver 5
removed.
Details of the changes and amendments have been recorded in the Section 1.3 Log of Changes.

4. Actions
a. All BARS Program participants are to distribute this BN and the BPM Ver 9 to all personnel with
responsibility for BARS Program.
b. Audit Companies are to distribute this BN and the BARS Auditor Guide Ver 6 to all Auditors and QC
personnel with responsibility for BARS Audits.
c. Copies of the BPM Ver 8 and the BAG Ver 5 shall be destroyed or if retained, they shall be marked as
obsolete.
d. BN55 and BN56 are now obsolete. Copies of these BNs shall be destroyed.
