to their own lives. This is evident in all my
lessons.
Throughout my student teaching experience, I
have learned how important assessment and
student data is for instruction. As I have
collected data by taking grades and creating
pre- and post-assessments to help sway
pacing and student instruction. Data
collection gives a teacher the ability to
monitor progress and refine growth and
development in students. This is seen in my
Data Collection Assignment on Analog
Clocks and the grades I have recorded
throughout my student teaching placements.
In this experience, I have given careful
thought into my planning. I have used the
time given to think about every student and
their individual progress and learning styles.
By looking at the specific framework of the
curriculum, I can meet learning objectives
through methods, activities, and integration
of subjects that allow each student to benefit
from the lesson. While planning is seen
through all my lessons, it can be specifically
seen in my lessons on Animal Characteristics
and Subdividing and Combining Polygons.
Instructional strategies are important in
every aspect of teaching, as it encourages
students to think critically and develop
understanding. Throughout my lessons and
teaching, I have been able to incorporate a
variety of these strategies during instruction
to make a fun and engaging experience. This
has also given the students the chance to add
on to their understanding of the content and
create building blocks of their development.
There are examples of significant
instructional strategies in all my lesson plans.
Throughout this experience, I formed
relationships and partnerships with other
educators at the schools and worked
collaboratively with them on a routine basis.
I regularly asked for feedback from educators
effects of his/her choices and actions on
others (learners, families, other
professionals, and the community), and
adapts practice to meet the needs of each
learner.
Standard 10: Leadership and
Collaboration
The teacher seeks appropriate leadership
roles and opportunities to take responsibility
for student learning, to collaborate with
learners, families, colleagues, other school
professionals, and community members to
ensure learner growth, and to advance the
profession.

professionalism as extremely important, as is
seen in my Teaching Philosophy.
In my experience of student teaching, I have
assumed the role of a head teacher for a part
of the time. Through this, I have learned how
to implement classroom management and
leadership by observing my cooperating
teachers and other educators. In every
aspect of my leadership, I have remained
professional and friendly in all parts of the
student teaching process. While this can be
seen through classroom exposure, the
concept of classroom management can be
seen in my lesson on Plants.
