matutunan ang ikalawang digmaang pandaigdig

a. Nasusuri ang mga salik na nagbigay daan sa pagsiklab ng ikalawang

b. Napapahalagahan ang kontribusyon nila mussolini, Stalin at hitler sa

Caregiving – is providing care for the physical and emotional


needs of a family member or a friend at home.

Tools - is any instrument or simple piece of equipment that


you hold in your hands and use to do a particular kind of work.

Equipment - is defined as whatever a person, group or thing


needs for a given purpose.

Paraphernalia – it is most commonly refers to a group of


apparatus, equipment, or furnishing used for a particular
activity.

Caregiving Tools, Equipment and Paraphernalia


- One of the most important tasks of a caregiver is to
make sure that he/she uses the right equipment, tool, or
paraphernalia that is applicable to a specific job. As a
future caregiver, therefore, you should be well versed
with different tools and equipment that you will use
when you are already in the health
care profession.

For Taking Vital Signs


BP Apparatus Aneroid (Sphygmomanometer)
- An aneroid unit is mercury free which consists of a cuff
that can be applied with one hand for self – testing, a
stethoscope that is built or attached, and a valve that
inflates and deflates automatically with the data
displayed on an easy – to - read gauge which will
function in any position.

BP Apparatus Mercurial (Sphygmomanometer)


- A mercury – based unit that has a
manual inflatable cuff attached by
tubing to the unit that is calibrated in
millimetres of mercury. During blood
pressure measurement, the unit must
be kept upright on a flat surface and the gauge read at
eye level.

Stethoscope
- An instrument which is used for
listening to the action of the heart,
usually it consists of circular piece
against the chest, with tubes leading to
earpieces.

Clinical Thermometer
- it is made of glass with a narrowing
above the bulb so that the mercury
column stays in position even when the
instrument is removed. The use of this
type is now being eradicated as the
mercury content is dangerous to people.

Bottle Sterilizer
- A bottle sterilizer is an apparatus
which is used in destroying
microorganisms in containers like
feeding bottles through boiling.

Baby Bathtub
- A baby bathtub is one used for bathing
infants, especially those not yet old
enough to sit up on their own. These
can be either a small, stand – alone
bath that is filled with water from
another source, or a device for
supporting the baby that is placed in a
standard bathtub. Both types are designed to allow the
baby to recline while keeping its head out of the water.

Bedpan
- A bedpan is a receptacle used for the
toileting of a bedridden patient in a
health care facility. It is usually made
of a metal, glass or plastic. A bedpan
can be used for both urinary and fecal
discharge.

Washing Machine
