Para: Merchandise, Quantities, Packing, Price, Delivery and Conditions of execution
Para: Conditions of Payment: mesmos termos do Modelo 1, mas, após a enumeração dos
documentos, substituir os três últimos parágrafos pelas cláusulas seguintes:
"The above set of documents will be accompanied by one promissory note (or X
promissory notes) whose due date will be X days (or whose due dates will be respectively
of x, y, z days) after the date shown on the ocean bill of lading.
The acceptation of the present confirmation constitutes a definite commitment on
your part to accept immediately at first presentation the promissory note (or notes)
presented, and to remit same to the bankers of your place entrusted with the presentation of
the documents. This acceptation is also a commitment on your part to honour at its due date
(or their due dates) the accepted promissory note (or notes) which will constitute an
irrevocable title, whose payment will not be refused nor delayed under any circumstance.
In any case, and even after acceptation of the promissory note accompanying the
documents, said documents will be remitted to you only after endorsement of said not by
the... Bank... in, the date of the endorsement thus given by the Bank being shown on the
note. You will obtain this endorsement within X days following the date of first
presentation of the documents to you.
In case that you fail to accept the notes/or to obtain their endorsement at first
presentation, we reserve the right to cancel the present order at any time at our option until
the date of reception by our Bankers in Brazil of the advice that the notes have been
accepted and endorsed, and to take over the full control of the documents and of the
merchandise.
