Since coming back to school, we
have had a lot of drama between
two of my strongest
personalities. As a class we have
had to have a lot of family
meetings where we discuss
things like why gossip is hurtful,
what it means to exclude
someone, etc. Recently we talked
about forgiveness, and what it
means to ask for forgiveness, and
what it means to give
forgiveness. I then had students
write letters of apology or
forgiveness to someone in their
life they felt they needed to
connect with. The two students
who have had the most problems
wrote their letters to each other,
without being prompted, which
was really encouraging.
