In Peru, we have a festival called ¨Día de la Canción Criolla ¨ (Day of the Creole Song). It takes
place on October 31st. While this festival is celebrated, Halloween is also celebrated in Peru. This
festival pays tribute to the musicians of the Creole genre and also makes us remember the traditions
of Peru. People gather to celebrate this festival eating typical Peruvian Creole dishes, but before
eating, first people celebrate by dancing Creole music. Also on this date, in the streets you can see
that they represent their music, through dances and artistic representations.
