UNDERSTAND THE FIELD

 From the sideline to the bottom of the number is 12 yards wide. We call this area
the “Boundary.”
 We separate the Boundary in to two parts with the “Red Line.” The Red Line is 6
yards from the sideline. Although the Red Line will not be painted on the field
game day it is important that you become familiar with its location on the field.
 The “Numbers” are 2 yards wide
 From the top of the Numbers to the Hash is 10 yards wide. We Call this area the
“Split”
 The “Middle” of the field is 6 yards wide, from hash to hash.
