When looking at Feed the Children, this Non-Governmental Organization has

created a lot of accomplishments that have come with great success. To start, Feed the

Children is an NGO that focuses on assisting others who are not as fortunate. They help

with all sorts of things such as disasters, education, and shelter. But their main focus is

on world hunger with children, which is what I'm going to be focusing on for their

accomplishments and success, but mainly focusing on the amount of food they were

able to give to help others and the number of counties that they are actively helping. In

the year of 2020, FTC distributed about 87.8 million pounds of food and essential items

worldwide to help more than 7.3 million people globally.This NGO has also reached 5.6

million children and families in the United States with distributions of shelf-stable food

and essential household items valued at more than $329 million. This shows how high

their success rate was for reaching these people and actually making a change. On

their website, they list the last 5 years of annual reports to show what accomplishes

they made. Besides helping those in the U.S with food problems, they also help

globally. In the year of 2020, they benefited more than 1.7 million children and

caregivers in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. The website lists the

names of the countries globally and then gives you stats on how they've helped. The

international staff is up to about 600 individuals who are overseas helping serve these

people. These successes show how the NGO accomplished everything and more that

they wanted to. These accomplishments couldn't have happened without the donations

from all the people. On their website, there's a place that asks you if you want to donate

$25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or other. You can also choose to donate this money once

or monthly. This organization strives for donations from everyday people and would not
be able to support these people of need without donations. I think to make this

organization stronger, they should show pictures or videos of them distributing the food

to these people and seeing their reaction. This I feel will draw more people in to want to

donate to this cause by physically seeing how they are making a change. I think it's

important to also advertise their website better to get customers to want to visit it more,

which also attracts more donations.
