WHAT ABOUT SSL?

Online is our day-to-day transaction and communication nowadays. That is why

people’s privacy becomes at risk.

Privacy is very important. People deserve to feel safe when making a transaction,
downloading a file, or consuming digital content. The number of risks on the Internet is
rising, and customers are increasingly concerned about digital security, which is why
every business that wants to provide a valuable experience to its users must invest in
website security. However, despite all of the precautions taken to ensure the safety of
digital interactions, the risks posed by hackers and viruses continue to rise. For
example, when we visit a website and see HTTP, we know we are in danger. However,
if we have SSL, we may change the URL of a website from HTTP to HTTPS, with the
"S" standing for secure. And this is one common example of SSL, which is used to
encrypt communication between a web browser and a web server. SSL ensures that
anything transmitted or uploaded through a browser utilizing HTTPS is encrypted and
protected from interception.

Furthermore, SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer. It is the standard technology for
keeping an internet connection secure and securing any sensitive data shared between
users and sites, or between two systems, preventing hackers from viewing and altering
any data received, including potentially personal information such as credit card
numbers and other financial information, names, and addresses. In short, SSL supports
encryption, authentication, data integrity, and more.

SSL certificates provide consumers with a secure experience while also protecting data.
SSL certificates are thus essential components of every form of digital strategy, from
blogging to e-commerce.

Thus, digital security must be part of organizational or everyone’s culture.
