Hello, everyone! My name is Briana but most people call me Bre. I am 19 years old.

I currently

attend Sinclair College and I am in the process of getting my social work degree. After I get my degree I

am planning on going into the mental health field. I have always wanted to work with people of all ages

and help them as much as I can. I love meeting new people and I love being able to help others so I

think the mental health field is perfect for me. I am employed through Ohio means jobs and I currently

work at a worksite. I am employed through OMJ at children services where I have learned so much and

gained a lot of experience. In the next couple of days I will be transferring to probate court in hopes to

further gain experience.

I have learned so much in ENG 1201. I am happy to say that I have learned how to cite my evidence.

I have also learned how to conduct a research essay which before I was not comfortable writing.

Another important thing I learned while taking this course is logical fallacies. These are the three main

things that I struggled with but I no longer struggle with. I am very happy with all of the information I

have learned because now I feel confident in conducting research essays and engaging in educational

debates and not being biased.

My eportfolio will contain my research essay, alternative genre project, and another writing I have

completed outside of the English course. I conducted my research essay based on the effects technology

has on children. Writing this essay helped me grow as a person. It gave me the ability to see the effects it

has on children's brains. Before writing my essay I thought I knew what effects it has on children but

after studying, doing research, and finishing my paper, I have learned so much in the process.
The poem I wrote outside of English class is very meaningful. As stated above, my passion is to work

in the mental health field. I’ve always had a fascination with learning about people's behaviors, and

helping everyone become better mentally. My poem shows what it is like to battle mood swings and

BPD. People with BPD have a fear of being alone yet they still have impulsive outbursts and show

anger towards loved ones when deep down they don’t want to be like this.
