Working with Peer Feedback

Directions: In the space provided below respond to these questions.

What are the three things you’ll change based upon your peers’ responses? Why will you change each one?

1. One of the things I’ll change based on Guadalupe’s response is the works cited entry that is out of alphabetical

order as an unalphabetical works cited is not an example of MLA format.

2. Another thing I’ll change based on Isaias’ response is my thesis statement as I agree with Isais’ comment of

needing work

3. The last thing I will change based on Charles’ response is the bullying overview section which will be

combined with the introduction in order to maintain a better organization.

What are three things you’ll keep despite your peers’ responses? Why will you keep each one?
1. One thing I’ll keep besides Guadalupes’ response is my in-text citations, as I don’t think I would be

incorporating the research properly without them however, I will incorporate more of my own interpretations

into the essay

2. One thing I’ll keep besides Charles’ response is the ending to my fourth paragraph which he claims sounds out

of place, however, I think it is a good ending.

3. Another thing I’ll keep besides Charles’ response is the topic sentence of my sixth paragraph as he claims it

could use more detail, but I think it fits well with the information that follows.

What work do you have left to do after today to successfully complete the project?

1. I need to basically combine my two-sentence thesis

2. Potentially split the essay into more paragraphs so it doesn’t fall under the same “5 paragraph” format of any essays
3. Extend the conclusion to be longer

4. Combine the bullying overview section and introduction

5. Alphabetize the works cited

6. Make sure there is no repetition of words/transitions

7. Check punctuation

8. Check for misspelling

9. Incorporate more of my opinion as opposed to in-text citations

10. Check capitalization
