As we know social engineering is the process where someone try to trick and manipulate people into

giving sensitive information. This attack convinces people or organizations to fall for scams that
could cost them huge financial loss or become more vulnerable to more scams. Understanding social
engineering allows organizations to make better decisions when these attacks comes again so that
they can defend themselves from it. So here are 2 ways that organizations can defend themselves
from social engineering attacks

Two factor authentication. even with security measures like antivirus software, firewalls, and
vulnerability tests, attacker can still compromise accounts and data if you don’t have any type of TFA
in place.

Increase security awareness. another way to reduce the threat of social engineering attacks is to
prioritize security awareness. For example, they could give certain users access rights to a certain
system, file, or other assets only for a specific task and only if it is required to complete the task.

To Identifying malware attacks on your computer, your computer will show certain symptoms when
it gets infected with malware. It is important to know most of these symptoms because they will

can change the name of its files. It can also execute applications that will transfer your files from one
folder to another. Some malware can even completely wipe your data stored on the computer.
