Scroll Compressor
Compressor
LG Electronics produces 18 million rotary and scroll compressors, core components of the air conditioner,
every year. The LG Air Conditioning Company also customized these core components which can be applied
from residential to commercial products. In line with LG's environmentally-friendly philosophy, the company is
also a major manufacturer of eco-friendly compressors.
You can have air conditioning fitted in most buildings these days, from schools and offices to shops and industrial
buildings, while a growing number of people are also buying air conditioning systems for their homes. An air conditioning
device draws in outside air, filters it, then heats, cools or humidifies it before circulating it around the building, forcing
the poor air back outside.
There are three main advantages to having air conditioning fitted in your home, office, workplace, shop or other leisure
space, and these are:
These days most air conditioning units have two functions – heating and cooling – and they can be easily changed from
one to the other depending on the kind of air you want in the building that day. Obviously in winter the thermostat will
probably be turned higher so that warm air seeps into the room, while in the summer this will be replaced with air that is
cooler than the room’s temperature to help keep everyone cool.
In larger buildings, such as supermarkets, warehouses and office blocks, it is probably more cost effective to have a
permanent air conditioning system installed that can work as a heating device in the winter and a cooling device in the
summer, smaller rooms and homes will probably make better use of mobile air conditioning units instead of fixed ones.
Portable air conditioning systems are available in two main types, monoblock and split units. Monoblocks are freestanding
and offer an instant solution to your air conditioning needs as they connect to a standard 13-amp socket and the exhaust
for hot air simply a pipe passed through an open window. Split mobile systems, on the other hand, have two parts – a
main evaporator unit inside the building and an external condenser box on the outside. The evaporator is connected to
the condenser box via a hole that is drilled through an external wall, although these systems can be detached and moved
to other rooms and buildings when necessary. Now that you know the different types of air conditioning available, why
not use our online directory to find the right supplier for you.
CRM Introduction
CRM, or Customer relationship management, is a number of strategies and technologies
that are used to build stronger relationships between companies and their customers. A
company will store information that is related to their customers, and they will spend time
analyzing it so that it can be used for this purpose.
Some of the methods connected with CRM are automated, and the purpose of this is to
create marketing strategies which are targeted towards specific customers. The strategies
used will be dependent on the information that is contained within the system. Customer
relationship management is commonly used by corporations, and they will focus on
maintaining a strong relationship with their clients.
There are a number of reasons why CRM has become so important in the last 10 years. The
competition in the global market has become highly competitive, and it has become easier
for customers to switch companies if they are not happy with the service they receive. One
of the primary goals of CRM is to maintain clients. When it is used effectively, a company
will be able to build a relationship with their customers that can last a lifetime. Customer
relationship management tools will generally come in the form of software. Each software
program may vary in the way it approaches CRM. It is important to realize that CRM is more
than just a technology.
It is also important for the CRM system to foster a philosophy that is oriented towards the
customers. While this may sound like common sense, there are a sizeable number of
companies that have failed to do it, and their businesses suffered as a result. With CRM, the
customer is always right, and they are the most important factor in the success of the
company. It is also important for the company to use measures that are dependent on their
customers. This will greatly tip the odds of success in their favor. While CRM should not be
viewed as a technology, it is important to realize that there are end to end processes that
must be created so that customers can be properly served. In many cases, these processes
will use computers and software.

Success story
LG Card CRM System Development Project
The Business Issue
Since its foundation in 1988, LG Card has grown to encompass 18.2 million cardholders, 2,804 employees, and
over
30 Billion USD in managed asset as of December 31, 2002. Currently LG Card is ranked at the top in domestic
credit
card industry. Before they become the top credit card company however, LG Card had to overcome
several customer satisfaction issues. They couldn't effectively serve customers with the old systems that ran
independently
from other systems, not allowing any information sharing (i.e. sales system and customer service system).
LG Card decided to implement a comprehensive CRM system that integrates both sales and service in order to
provide customer oriented credit card service.
Our approach
The aim of the LG Card CRM System Development Project was to generate a higher profit by strengthening
the
customer management capability. LG CNS reengineered the entire customer service process from the
customer point
of view. We also established an integrated management system that supports all the sales transactions.
Customer
communication channel is now integrated into a single window. Finally, marketing activities were automated by
linking
customer analysis.
How it worked
Integration of the Marketing/Sales/Service clients into a single application has reduced customer response time
greatly.
Work error caused by inaccurate data was eliminated by real time update of customer data which used to take
over 8
hours. LG Card has also seen the improvement in customer loyalty with rapid and consistent customer
response
through the single window for customer contact point and integration of work processes in marketing, sales,
and service
department.
