What if I failed God ?

How many times have we reflected on our decisions in life and realized that some of them
were out of Gods will ?
We might have failed Him in our thoughts, words and actions
And the sense of Guilt and condemnation that follows feels too much too bear.
However, we go back and repeat the cycle again and again , that it becomes difficult on our
own to get out of .
Sin is enticing and very appealing to us that it can make us say
“It feels good God , can’t I keep doing it ?, I know you will forgive me ,”

When we continue in it, it robs us of the joy and peace that can only be found in Christ .

But the Lord desires to cleanse us .He loves us too much to go on allowing us to sin .
He is a God of unfailing love , He desires to wash away the dirt and sin from us.
Not only is He able to wash us , he even Gives us the power Over the sin that we struggle
so hard to break from .

He makes us willing to obey him .

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what
pleases him. Phillipians 2; 13

“Create in me a pure heart , O God , and renew a steadfast spirit within me . Do not cast
me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me .
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit , to sustain me .”

The word says in romans 12: 1‘Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to
offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of
worship.” (NIV).

As we place our bodies on God’s altar and dedicate it daily to God as a sacrifice , our bodies
are made holy AS THOUGH WE HAD NEVER SINNED.
That is the blessed assurance we have in Jesus Christ Our redeemer.
When we fall back into the habit of sin , let us not give up in pressing on seek God daily .
“ Not by might , not by Power , but by my spirit says the Lord almighty “ Zachariah 4: 6

The Holy spirit who is in us will help us to overcome whatever temptations and weakness we
have as we surrender to His leading .

Therefore let us not be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness , let us yield and surrender even our
failures and weaknesses to God , for He us able to through His mighty power at work within
us , to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think according to His power that is
at work within us .
