Conversation sounds
People often use sounds like Uh-huh and Oh in conversations.

Uh-huh means "Yes, that's right," or "I'm listening":

A Is it a gift?

B Uh-huh.

Oh shows you're surprised, happy, upset, or angry:

A Let's see . . . It's $55.95.

B Oh. That's a lot.
