Working with Peer Feedback

Directions: In the space provided below respond to these questions.
What are the three things you’ll change based upon your peers’ responses? Why will you change each one?

1. Changing some transitional sentences and parts of my essay is something I will do. One of my peers mentioned

that better transitioning to make the reading smoother could help so I will follow that. In order for the reader to have a

better experience while reading this will be changed.

2. Fix some syntax in some of my sentences, they appeared to be awkward to one of my peers, therefore fixing these

sentences will be performed. I feel like reading it out load has actually revealed the problem with the sentences, in

reality its just a syntax problem.

3. I will improve the grammar sense of my essay as one of my peers mentioned, fixing some comma errors and

sentences is present in the paper. Hence, this will allow me to proofread my essay and find these minor comma errors

and other grammatical mistakes I may run into.

What are three things you’ll keep despite your peers’ responses? Why will you keep each one?

1. Changing some of my vocabulary was recommended from one of my peers. However, I feel like my chosen

vocabulary fits very well with the type of wiring I am constructing, leaving me with the idea that I should keep it

despite the advice.

2. One of my peers implied a change of a title for my essay. But, in my opinion I really like my title I feel like it

resembles my self-experiment very well, hence I will keep it.

3. Breaking off one of my paragraphs was recommended by one of my peers, however it relates to my topic, and it

ties down some of the essential information needed for the paper. Also following a format is something that took

place, hence keeping the paragraph is absolutely necessary for the full picture.
What work do you have left to do after today to successfully complete the project?

1. Fix the revisions my peers have made for me.

2. Finalize the final draft for my essay with all the edits made and hopefully making it the best essay possible.

3. Head on over to a noiseless room where no one interrupts my thoughts and have myself proof-read the essay.

4. Have someone read my essay after accomplishing my final product and see the edits they recommend for me.

5. Edit whatever it is I must and eventually by the end of it see the revision my peers implied.

6. Nothing else is left, but to turn in the final draft for essay 1 and hope it is a perfect paper that will satisfy Mrs.
