Significance of the Study:

The main benefit of the study is to prevent food waste by using banana peels as an exfoliant. The
researchers will test and experiment its efficacy so that everyone with dead skin cells can take benefit
from this study. The following will benefit from the study:

Students. The students that have dead skin cells will take benefit from this study as well as to
gain information in preventing food waste.

Parents. The parents will take benefit from the study for the reason that they will gain
knowledge in terms of food waste as well as to help their child in removing dead skin cells.

Teachers. The teachers will be more knowledgeable regarding food waste and will be informed
about dead skin cells.

Administration. The Administration will inform the students, teachers, and staff on awareness of
food waste and mention its importance to the environment.

Farmers. The farmers can benefit from the study by giving away the unused banana peelings in
their household and whenever they get dead skin cells, they can utilize this study to remove them.

Researchers. The researchers will be aware of how banana peelings are used as an exfoliating
agent. As well as to have more knowledge for their future studies.
