Sir/Madam, ‘The UGC vide letter No.F.1-1/2021 (Secy) dated 16-07-2021 has notified its guidelines on Examinations as under: u. Examinations “The provisions as contained in the guidelines issue¢ earlier as mentioned above shall apply for the current academic session 2020-21. Further, the Terminal Semester/Final Year Examinations (2020-2021) be compulsorily corducted in Offline (Pen & Paper)/ Onling/ Bignded (Online+Ofiline) mode by no later than August 31, 2021 following the prescribed protocols! guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic. For Intermediate Semester/Year students, Assessment shall be based on Internal evaluation and previous semester as suggested in 2020 guidelines.” As per above guidelines, the examinations of Intermediate Semester/Year students will not be conducted and their result shall be based on internal evaluation and previous semesters. Last year following guidelines issued by the Government of Haryana vide Endst. No. KW 18/79-2020 UNP (4) dated 23-06-2020 were fellowed for preparing the result of Intermediate Semester/Y ear students: “All the students shall be promoted to next Semester with $0% weightage of marks of Internal _Assessment/Assignment plus 50% weightage of the marks in previous examinations.” As per above clause, there will be internal assessment of 50% marks of each theory paper. For example, if a subject/paper has 100 marks ( 80 extemal + 20 intemal) the internal assessment marks under above scheme will be out of 50. Similarly, if theory paper has 50 marks (40 extemal + 10 internal), the internal assessment marks should be sent out of 25, and so on. ‘The distribution of the marks of Internal Assessment will be as under: i) Attendance 20% ii) Assignment 30% iii) Presentation/Seminar 30% iv) Class Participation/extra curriculum activities/General Attitude 20% Cota: P] A>ae The teacher concerned will maiytain the complete record of Internal Assessment marks, The marks of Internal Assessment may be prepared accordingly by the concemed teachers, counter signed by the concerned Dean/HOD and may be sent to the Results Branch in Hard Copy as well as Soft Copy upto 10-08-2021. In the first instance the above criteria is applicable to the following examinations: 1. B.A/B.Sc./ B.Com/BBA/ BCA/ B.Lib/ Shastri and Hons. Course. ] Except Final 2.
