Personal Statement

My name is Arnold Ramirez. I am in the 12th grade at The Charter School of San

Diego. I will be graduating from high school in June 2022. In the future I would like to go

to an Auto Mechanic Certificate program and obtain a job as an auto mechanic.

I have a passion for cars. I learned about cars from my father. He worked with

cars and taught me about cars. My dad did a great job teaching me and for this reason I

want to become an auto mechanic. I have gained skills such as how to change tires and

oil. I want to work very hard so I can earn a job as an auto mechanic.

In high school, I learned to overcome many challenges. For example, my math

classes were very hard for me and they did not come easy. I accepted the challenge

and took lots of notes so I could remember the information. Also, for over a year I could

not come into school which made it hard to learn virtually.

I am very proud of the person I am now. I am proud of myself because I worked

hard to finish all of my math classes. I plan to study at the Educational Cultural Complex

and obtain the training to become an auto mechanic. I look forward to working hard and

reaching my goals.
