COMPENSATORY OFF LEAVE (EXTRA WORKING)

• This leave type is used to provide additional leave for the work done by employee on off/extra
work/ etc.

• The comp off Leave credit for extra work hours

Extra working hours OT leave days

Less than 4 hours No OT
4 – 6 hours 0.5 day
7- 12 hours 1.0 day
12 – 16 hours 1.5 days

• Comp Offs that got credited expire if not consumed within 30 days from date of accrual (or
date of credit). When you apply for a leave, the system will automatically deduct from the
most recently expiring leave.

Applying for a Leave

• Comp Offs can be applied by you on your own or a manager can apply on your behalf.
• You can apply leave for a past day, but not beyond than 30 calendar days back.
• Comp Offs requires comment while applying leave

Holidays during leave

Holiday accompanying leave is treated as leave when total number of leave exceed 0 calendar days
and Holiday is right between two leave days (Holiday is sandwiched between leave days).
