LORD OF THE RINGS

SYNOPSIS:

In a fantastic and unique land, a hobbit


receives as a gift from his uncle a magical
and evil ring that must be destroyed before
it falls into the hands of evil. To do this, the
hobbit Frodo has an arduous journey
ahead of him, where he encounters danger,
fear, and bizarre beings. By his side to fulfill
this journey, he can gradually count on
other hobbits, an elf, a dwarf, two humans,
and a wizard, totaling nine beings that form
the Fellowship of the Ring.
CHARACTERS:
The characters are Frodo, a hobbit who is tasked with destroying Sauron's ring.
Samwiser, another hobbit who is Frodo's faithful squire. Merry and Pippin who
are also hobbits tasked with helping Frodo. Gandalf, The gray wizard with the
great wisdom of the kingdoms and the rings, Aragorn a human who fights for the
elven kingdom and the forests. Gimli, a dwarf warrior. Boromir, a human warrior
who has an interest in the power of the ring. Together they form "The Fellowship
of the Ring" in order to protect and save the kingdoms of Middle Earth from the
return of the dark king Sauron.

The Lord Of The Rings movie trilogy
is an adaptation of the book triology
by author John Ronald Ruel Tolkien.
Most of the scenes in the film were
shot in the interiors of cities in
England, and also in parts of
Germany. The film had a total of 14
nominations for the Academy
Awards, including the biggest
category which is Best Picture,
winning only 4 categories. It took
home 4 gold statuettes. Directed by
film director Peter Jackson.
