SAMPLE ANSWER STATISTICAL REPORT

*Figure 2 shows the Statistics based on the number of tourists from Barbados, England
& Canada arriving in Trinidad between 2005 and 2008.

Statistics from tourist arrivals from the years 2005 - 2008 to Trinidad were
recorded. The visitors came from Barbados, England and Canada and the
data was recorded in a table titled Figure 2.

In 2005, 1,020 persons visited Trinidad. Visitors from England represented

the highest tourist arrival (600) and the lowest tourist arrival was from
Barbados (120). Visitors from Canada represented the remaining arrivals.

In 2006 there was a total of 1,120 visitors to Trinidad a slight increase from
the total figure in 2005.

Once again, visitors from England contributed the largest share of the total
figure (750), the smallest number of tourists arrived from Barbados (160). It
is notable that both of these were slight increases from the 2005 figures.
However, in the case of Canada, there was a slight decrease (210).

The year 2007 saw the lowest number of tourists visiting Trinidad – 860.

Since this figure was lower than the previous totals, it suggests that the
annual total trend fluctuated. England arrivals accounted for 400 tourists
and Barbados arrivals accounted for 110 (a slight decrease from 2006).
The data for the Canadian arrivals saw an increase from the 2006 figure, to
350. This suggests a fluctuation in the trend for Canadian arrivals.

In 2008, the highest number of tourists visited Trinidad 1,800. There was
increase in arrivals from each of the three countries and each recorded its
highest figure. In 2008, 900 tourists arrived from England, and 300 from
Barbados and one third arrived from Canada (600).
