When Bayo was in primary school, he had a very bad habit that
fascinated me at that time.
Bayo just had a love for imitating the handwriting of our fellow
classmates. He would see someone's writing and if he liked it,

the right market and the right niche to focus on.
WHAT IS A NICHE?
The male market or the female market? If you chose the female
market, you're correct, it is women who usually care about
baby food.
But does this mean that you should start marketing your baby
food to any woman you see? Absolutely not and here's why.
Not all women care about baby food. Some are unmarried,

some have no kids, and others may not care about having any.
Some are married but don't care about baby food either

more because you're talking only to the people who want what
you have.
So the lesson for you here is whatever your passion or idea is, it
must cater to a segment of a larger market. Therefore, clarity is
very important.

decide to enter and sell your products or services to a
particular market niche.
If they are not already motivated, then it's probably not a good
niche to pursue.

Your main goal should be you looking for a niche within your
passion that has customers who are motivated by pain and
urgency or irrational passion, are proactively looking for a
solution and have few or no perceived options.
Find out what makes you unique from others and leverage it.
Okay! So you now have an idea, and you have answered the
three questions above about your niche with a “yes”, here's a
simple method to test the idea in the real world before you ever
spend your money to make the product.
They will tell you everything you need to know about that niche
market. Some easy ways to find people in niche markets is to

Ask them what their biggest wants and aspirations are. Ask
them what they are doing to solve their problems. Ask them

Talk to 5-10 people per day for a week. Get inside their head
and figure out what they have going on. You will be shocked at
how much you'll learn. You will know if they are motivated by
pain and urgency or irrational passion. You will know if they
are pro-actively looking for a solution and… You will know if
they have few or no perceived options available to them.

arketing your product means creating a buzz,
which means telling everyone about it. It means
shouting it from the rooftop and on top of your
voice if you need to. It means wearing, drinking, sleeping and
breathing your product.
Contrary to what you may have heard before now, the aim of
your marketing is not to “get your name out there” or “brand
your company”.
What you need is to get people to buy what you have for sale. A
new business that doesn't have people buying from it as soon
as possible, so that it can start making sales, will soon die.
All you want to achieve with your marketing and your adverts
is to make your customers take action and buy what you are
selling, directly from you, one on one, if possible.
