General Recommendation

1. Custody Metering System

The metering system shall be 1*100% duty meter + 1*100 % standby meter + 1*100 % Master
Meter , Z – configuration , Meters Technology : Ultrasonic .The system is designed to meet the
Iraqi National Code/ API MPMS / OIML / ISO /ASTM/IEC/ISA /API RP/IEEE/ IP/GPA standards
for the custody transfer Requirements.
2. Prover unit:

Suitable Master Meter (not verification meter) for fiscal metering systems installed in the skid
shall be provided to prove the duty meter and standby meter. One Master Meter spare at
warehouse is required.

The Master Meter shall be returned to a certified flow calibration facility that is traceable to
International standards (every specified period that will be defined in measurement protocol) and
certified spare master meter shall replace the existing one during the duration of calibration.

3. Suitable Quality Measurement Unit shall contain but not limited to with Automatic Sampling
System, Water in Oil and redundant densitometers.

4. IFAT , FAT and SAT

The CONTRACTOR/COMPANY reserves the right to test and inspect the metering units prior
to the delivery in the SUPPLIER's factory. Factory tests shall include: Pre-FAT - internal test
carried out by SUPPLIER to ensure that all tests intended to be carried out as part of the FAT
under CONTRACTOR witnessing, should be executed and any faults rectified prior to FAT
execution.

IFAT (Integration FAT) with supplier shall be witnessed by COMPANY; SAT Procedure and
check list shall be submitted to COMPANY for review and approval;

FAT shall be witnessed By THIRD PARTY, BOC specialized measurements personnel,

CONTRACTOR and COMPANY representatives.

SAT on metering systems and Measurement Unit shall be performed by THIRD PARTY and
witnessed by CONTRACTOR/SUPPLIER, BOC and COMPANY
 5. Flow Meters Calibration, the calibration of all flow meters to be witnessed by THIRD
PARTY, BOC specialized measurements personnel, CONTRACTOR and COMPANY
representatives.

6. Sun roof: sun roof for the complete metering skid and quality system to be included.

7. Training:

The SUPPLIER shall provide training courses for the COMPANY’s personnel. The SUPPLIER
in his proposal shall quote price per trainee for on-site and off-site trainings, provide training
course details, locations etc. Training shall be in English language. Training topics shall cover the
commissioning, operation and maintenance aspects of the Equipment and software.

A certificate authorizing the trainee to work independently and managing of all level software
Configurations with right to make corrections and introduce changes to the system shall be issued
by SUPPLIER upon completion of training program. The SUPPLIER shall provide appropriate
instructors, venue (for off-site training), and training Manuals, equipment & lab stations.
