SECTION 1 SERVICING NOTES Cautions when replacing C121 and IC171 on the BD board ‘A change has been made from CXD2535AR to CXD2535BR dv to ‘modification of C121 on the BD board in this unit Accompanying this modification, a portion of the non-volatile memory of ICI71 (XC24001S) has been changed. During replacement of ICI7I the data for the previous 1C12L (CXD2535AR) is written as initialization (reset) values by the system controller. (Initialization (reset) values are weitten once the power is applied when replacing IC171.) Rewrite a portion of the non-volatile memory contents using the following procedure when the [C171 has been replaced on the BD ‘board using CXD2S35BR for IC12I. Conversely, when IC1Z1 has been replaced, use CXD2S3SBR and rewrite the contents of IC17L Contents of non-volatile memories (CXD2535AR vs CXD2535BR ‘Address | _GXDa535AR__| _GXD2SS5BR 15 20 03 2D 33 1A 2 33 1A Rewrite Procedure for Non-volatile Memory (2) Insert the power cord into the electrical outlet while holding down the AMS knob, and then release the AMS knob.
