As we end our Teachers’ day appreciation program, I have
learned and/or have had reminded several important things from our today’s event: · I have been reminded of how much work a teacher has! I am also deeply aware of the incredible things that a teacher can do with such a limited amount of time, our so-called “Heroes of the academe.” The reality is that we usually take it for granted that we have teachers who were always ready to teach us without realizing their efforts and sacrifices. · The type of learning that we have today is an interesting reminder of how hard-working our teachers are in adjusting and learning new things in using technology which presents both benefits and challenges. The advantage of technology and the internet is that it provides the opportunity for us to connect within the confines of our homes safely. · I remain amazed by how much is changing in education as a result of societal change. Family setup has changed wherein Parents got more involved in the education of their children. The workforce has changed before the school campus is full of people now students only go into the campus to settle their account balances. The pace of life has changed food take out and delivery is the new norm. Students are getting the pressure of distance learning education! And within all of this, We teachers’ are working hard to respond accordingly to these changes to ensure our students are best prepared for the future they will face. · · Truly This is the most exciting and important time to be an educator.
