Saina Nehwal

Queen of Badminton, Saina Nehwal who had

become a flag-bearer of women’s badminton
in India. She is first-ever Indian badminton
player to win an Olympic medal in 2012, not
only this but many other achievements like
first female Indian player to accomplish the
feat of ranking first in the Badminton World
Federation (BWF) Tour and was 24
international titles to her name.

Her hobby became his passion and made an

icon for millions of fans of the game. Her
mom was her inspiration. She used to saw her
playing badminton. She started playing
badminton from a very early age of 8 yrs.
This was her mother’s dream to become a
national level badminton player. But it was
her extreme hard work that made her shine as
International of Badminton player.

She is considered as one of the most successful

sportsperson. She is awarded with nation’s
top two sporting honors, these are the Rajiv
Gandhi Khel Ratna Award and Arjun Award.
And the list is very long.
She paved the path for women to stand on
their feet and uplift the name of our nation.
