3rd Written Work in Entrepreneurship

Second Semester SY 2021-2022

Answer the following questions.

1. Individuals with high IQs would make better entrepreneurs than those with lower IQs. Do you agree or
disagree with this statement? Explain your answer.

 This is a statement that I strongly disagree with. Having a high IQ doesn't mean you'll be a
successful entrepreneur. Your ability to establish a solid strategy for developing your business from
good to great identifies you as a better entrepreneur. It is based on how successfully you run your
business, your ability to learn in any situation, your perseverance, and your strategic planning.

2. Serial entrepreneurs (i.e,. individuals who set one successful venture after another) are good at
recognizing and exploiting business opportunities. What do you think accounts for their success?
 Risk-taking is attributed to the success of serial entrepreneurs. It takes a lot of courage to start a
business. Many things might go wrong while starting a business, but they decided to take a chance
and see what happens. Serial entrepreneurs are also strategic and persistent, in addition to being
entrepreneurial.

3. Given that prior knowledge is an important factor in opportunity recognition, does this mean that
younger people are less likely to recognize business opportunities compared to older people?

 Even though experience does come with age, this does not always imply that younger
entrepreneurs will have a harder time recognizing business opportunities. Younger people can
always rely on their elders for advice on business matters. If young individuals are willing to learn
more about business and its opportunities, they can always do so.
