From this course I can definitely see an improvement through my work this semester.

I believe
the portfolio project to be a big help with being able to see the improvement made. We can see
exactly what we did well on each time and what needed to be fixed as well. One thing that
helped me throughout the semester was the amount of feedback I received on each
assignment. Throughout the semester the improvement I noticed the most is the way that I
write information in a paper. I was better about writing information in a way most people
would understand and not just professionals on the topic.

My goal for this course was to become a better writer and be able to better understand writing
techniques for future use. I believe each assignment that we completed will help me a lot in the
future as I am going to be a teacher. The one I believe that helped the most for this was the
workplace correspondence assignment. I believe that I met my goals for this course through the
different assignments completed and through feedback I was given. The feedback I received
was always helpful for me to see what I needed to work on to become a better writer. The
amount of feedback I received on each assignment was a good bit more compared to most of
the other writing courses I have taken during college.

I would have to say I am most proud of my white paper assignment. Since I faced the obstacle
of my paper deleting with me over halfway finished and still able to rewrite the information in
way that made sense was a big deal to me, as things like this usually really knock me off
balance. Of course, when it first happened, I was extremely upset, but I took a deep breath and
rewrote the paper. I feel like this happening was able to give me a push to make the paper
better than it was the first time I wrote it. I definitely could see myself using this paper in the
future as a reference. I do not think I would add any assignments to this course as all the ones
we did were very important when it comes to our future. When it comes to assignments, I
would change it probably be the engagement project. While this project was fun to do I did not
feel as though it was one really related to writing, but more to media.
