No, I won’t let my family to follow the same gender roles assignment because gender equality

should begin at home, and families are the front lines of change. The changes that I will employ
to my family is that I will equally dividing all housework and childcare in our home through
involving boys in care work and household chore along with the girls. Also, I will encourage my
children to embrace diversity, by showing them role models from different genders, ethnicities
and colour. I will empower and educate them as young advocates about woman’s rights and let
my children know that our family is a safe space for them to express themselves as they are, by
affirming their choices, by reassuring them that it’s okay to be different, and by encouraging a
culture of acceptance.
