may cite
researches, reports and other supporting documents for this

d. What is your conclusion, suggestions and realizations?

The world is very diverse. We know that there is diversity in the world, different
cultures, beliefs, policies, and social classes, which is why we cannot blame others
whohave a culture far beyond the norm because they have practiced it at some
point overthe decades. Many cultures are wrong but still prevailing. Female Genital
Mutilation, orthe practice of partially or entirely removing the external genitalia
of girls and youngwomen, is one of these practices that should be eliminated
because it appears to beforbidden. Lily from Sierra Leone is one of the
victims of this pervasive taboo. She claims she was eight years old at the time
of the mutilation. Due to a bad habit and adisagreement involving her tribe, she
was compelled to contemplate starting a familyearly. In addition to poverty, she
also dealt with female genital mutilation, which she saidwas imposed upon her by
three women. After her mother escaped when she was cut,and her husband
abandoned her to find another family because she had been the source of his
poor luck, she felt betrayed.

A.
Lily's challenges include having her hair cut at the age of eight, which causes her to
have difficulty urinating and having her menstruation. And every time her husband
was forced to sleep with him, she felt hurt.
B.
I feel bad for Lily because she has a hard time releasing her urine and menstruating.
She also has no hope of having a child, which could lead to her husband divorcing
her.

C
Lily's case, also known as Female Genital Mutilation, is carried out as a method of
controlling a woman's sexuality. It is thought to ensure virginity before marriage and
fidelity afterward, as well as to increase male sexual pleasure. FGM is a non-medical
practice that removes female genital organs and has no health benefits. FGM is
typically performed on young girls between infancy and puberty. It is excruciatingly
painful and can endanger the health of women and girls. It can also lead to long-term
issues with sex, childbirth, and mental health.

D
My conclusion is that FGM should be abolished or those who practice it should be
stopped because girls and women face a slew of difficulties not only as a result of the
cuts they receive, but also because their personal lives are disrupted.
