Every person who wishes to further his or her education must attend college or university.

The primary motive for attending universities or colleges varies from person to person.
Someone may want to achieve more knowledge; someone may just wish to acquire a
certificate to prepare for future career or someone may see it as a new experience in their life.
The major motivation for people to attend colleges and universities is most likely career
preparation. A college or university degree increases one's chances of finding a full-time,
steady job. A university or college degree holder, on the other hand, is offered a better
position that pays more than others.
In my opinion, people attend universities or colleges to gain knowledge. Students at colleges
and universities have the chance to learn about technology, philosophy, art, history, economy,
about themselves and the outside world. University or college provides a new level of
knowledge which develops self-actualization and confidence in the students.
People also attend colleges or universities to have new experiences and broaden their
horizons. For many students, it is their first time away from home and live in a totally
different environment. They encounter new individuals from a variety of backgrounds,
ethnicities, and cultures at college or university. They can learn to live on their own and care
for themselves without their family nearby.
