Summer Break will be commencing from 31st May,
Holiday homework is an attempt to channelize the
creative energy of the children. Doing it in the right- spirit with
enthusiasm will make it a great learning experience. Make sure that your
work is neat, presentable, and original and confirms to the
guidelines.
2020 and school will reopen as per the instruction
by government.

INSTRUCTION FOR THE HOLIDAY HOME WORK

NOTE:- Holidays homework carries marks in final term; hence submission of work post vacation is
compulsory for all students.

1. Revise whole syllabus that has been done.

2. Written homework of all the subjects is to be done in the separate notebooks and further as
per the instruction & guidance given by the subject teacher.

3. The child will be assessed for the handwriting, presentation, neatness, completion of all the
given question, indexing of the work.

4. Charts, Presentation and Projects must be labelled properly indicating very clearly the
Name___________, Class ___________, Roll No. ___________ and Subject___________.

5. Question must be done in the given sequence & maintain the tidiness in the notebook.

6. Use good quality pencil to draw & label diagrams and good quality gel pen to write answer.

7. Avoid deletions or using white fluid or any overwriting.

8. Parents can be the facilitators for the child at home but let the child complete his/her own
handwriting.

Dear Parents,

Summer brings with the ever smiling sun, fresh breeze, blossoming flowers and
HOLIDAYS.

When the sun is high and the heat is great, it is time to go for a vacation or pursue
a recreation.

Holidays are the time for the parents to become teachers and friends! Vacations
help to rejuvenate your child and develop an everlasting bond between you and
your child by devoting your precious time towards him/her.

Allow us to facilitate you to help your child explore his/her environment. Make
optimum use of this time to cultivate your child’s interest in co-curricular
activities. Have fun with family and friends.

Learn and write the following – (Do practice on daily basis)

 Cursive Aa to Zz.
 Sounds { a,e,i,o,u and ea , ee}
 Days of week.
 Singular / Plural (atleast 20 words).
 Do activities from activity book. Page numbers are given below -

● Read book daily and learn atleast 5 rhymes.
● Complete your fair notebook.

MATHEMATICS

● Write Counting 1 to 400.

● Back counting 400 to 1.
● Write number names of 1 to 50.
● Do practice of Additions (20 sums).
● Do practice of Subtractions (20 sums).
● Complete your fair notebook.

Learn and Write the following –

 My School.
● Name the parts of body (atleast 20).
● Fruit and vegetable names (10 each).
● Wild and domestic animal name.
● Name of the Animal homes (10).
● Types of food (10).
 Daily read you text book.
 Complete your fair notebook.

MUSIC
Learn any patriotic song and melodious song of your choice.

DANCE
Prepare a dance on any decent song. You can prepare a solo or a group performance.

SPORTS/ PHYSICAL
Explore a new game at home and do some physical activities and send video of it us on class
group. Some examples of physical activities are given below –
 Do push ups
 Different type of exercises
 Different asanas of yoga
 Aerobics or zumba
