Reflection Paper
“Acting is not about being someone different. It’s finding the similarity in
what is apparently different, then finding myself in there” - Meryl Streep once said.
The actor must work on his physical appearance. The actor must improve his voice.
But the actor’s mind is the most important thing to work on. You must be vulnerable
if you truly want to be an actor who can satisfy both himself and his audience. Acting
is all about building relationships. It is fundamental and necessary.
This final output which is an individual acting or role playing, I’ve decided
to reenact a local afternoon teleserye entitled “Kadenang Ginto” which is indeed a
big hit and one of the best during its time. I chose this teleserye because I think I can
show and express more my talent through this especially to those scenes which are
totally intense and undeniably great. As of this moment, I’m practicing on how I can
act well, on how I can express my emotions and how to give a better and good acting
to this so that I can give justice on re-enacting this teleserye. I wish to give atleast a
good performance even though it’s not perfect. I assure you that I will give you a
better and great output for this final term on our subject which is the Speech and
Theatre Arts.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our Professor, Ms. Monique
Mangente for the continuous support, for her patience, motivation, enthusiasm, and
immense knowledge as well as extending her knowledge to us in order for the

outputs and activities to be of great credibility and value. Her guidance helped us in
