Evaluation

Good governance in

project implementation includes effective project organisation where everyone has clear roles
and responsibilities, written cooperation agreement with the partner and an effective financial
management.

Monitoring and evaluation are essential components of project management. They are
carried out to make sure that the project work is relevant and to learn on programme progress
and effectiveness. Regular monitoring enables the project to anticipate risks and identify the
necessary changes to be made into project plans as well. Monitoring and evaluation are also
needed to be accountable to stakeholders.
