I choose to invest in UnbuckleMe - a small product that’s making a big diference
for families.
According to Becca, about half of their sales come from grandparents. There’s 12
million children’ car seats sold every year, grandparents is about half of their
sales. 30% to 40% of their deal are actually to younger families. They’re actually
handing it to the second or the third row to a 4- or 5-year-old to unbuckle. The
kids can unbuckle themselves, hand it back to Mom or Dad in the front seat, keep
it out of reach. They don’t have to get out of the car, thay don’t have to break
their shoulder trying to reach to the kid. UnbuckleMe also helps you unlock faster
in an emergency.
UnbuckleMe have been on the market for 22 months, sold over 35,000 units, add
up to deals are $400,000. Sell them for $14.99, make them for $1.80. These are
impressive numbers.
I did a small survey about the necessity of this product. Here is the result I got.

- Most people have more or less trouble unlocking, and they think this
product is necessary.
 - Only about a quarter of people are willing to pay $ 14.99 for this product.
- More than 70% of people need to think more about this price, they find it a
bit expensive.
- Very few people find this product cheap.
- But in general, they will still buy this product because of the benefits it
brings.
Based on the above factors, I decided to invest in UnbuckleMe with 100,000 for
8% capital.
