The

Duchess of Cornwall said World Book Day “means the birth of reading” for

many children. Actually own your first book is something that you’re never going
to forget. “That first book will be there forever. And it’s hopefully going to lead
children to reading more and more, discovering different authors and different
subjects.
The Duchess also highlighted the importance of reading from a young age,
adding: "When we read, we understand ourselves better, we understand others
better and we make lifelong friends."

I believe that if children start reading from an early age they will be able to create
new interests that will help them to have more skills in their development, nowadays
children from an early age use cell phones and lose their imagination, they only
carry out the same continuous activity, instead If a child read, he would have an
imagination of what he reads, he knows new words, practices writing and discovers
feelings.
