Objectives of the Session:


- To explain stress and academic stress
- To educate students on stress management
- To explain students about time management, time management techniques and its
application
- To explain study skills, importance of study skills, study habits, types of study skills

Session Plan

- Ice Breaker
 Asking questions such as “What is stress according to you?”, “What are the things
that cause stress to you guys?”, “How do you think is academic stress is
different?”
 Making them write a list of stressors causing academic stress
 Discussion of affect of pandemic on academic stress
- Explaining Stress (academic stress, stress management strategies, activity on stress
reduction – guided meditation)
- Explaining time management (asking them why time management is important?
What are the cons of not being able to manage time?, pros of time management,
explaining time management techniques, activity – Eisenhower Matrix, feedback after
activity)
- Explaining Study Skills and Study Habits (Asking questions such as “what
according to you are study skills? What are some of the study habits that has
personally helped you? What are some of the study skills that you think you use the
most?, definition of study skills and study habits, types of study skills, importance of
study skills, activity – study skills worksheet, study plan worksheet, Note making –
demonstration and activity”
