Introduction

The following is intended to carry out different individual and group topics where in this phase
Step 4 Understand IT negotiations, which basically is necessary to follow the specific guidelines
of the activity guide as well as to investigate each element with the references given in unit 3.
The technological revolution has caused a series of changes, one of them corresponds to the way
in which the academic and productive sectors relate to each other. This link between these sectors
requires professional activities, in this sense, the role played by technological management is
fundamental, which has been considered as the systematic management of the process of
generating new knowledge and, as the management of the development of the set of skills and
instruments necessary to sustain a pertinent and systematic program of improvements in the
production process, capable of leading to the generation and capture of new knowledge.

OBJECTIVES

General purpose

Recognize the difficulties and problems that the Colombian industry has at the level of
technological development and how this affects society and the growth of the country.

Specific objectives

• Conduct a literature review on innovation, research and development in Colombia and its
difficulties.

• Know the importance of knowledge in the economic development of a country as a tool to


improve business strategies.

• Design a creative infographic in which the definition of each selected method, processes and
the application of the method to calculate the value of technology is reflected.

• Develop a diagram showing the problems faced by Colombian companies and recommend
possible solutions to this problem.

CONCLUSIONS

• This activity allowed us to learn fundamental concepts for technology negotiation.

• We were able to identify the importance of the different business models and how they

impact an organization.
