Roberto answered questions about his experiences before age 14 using the past perfect tense. He had traveled abroad twice, eaten Japanese food, moved houses multiple times, met his best friend, saved money, and won prizes, but had never read J.K. Rowling or slept in a tent. His classmates also shared their experiences, with some having traveled abroad, eaten foreign food, climbed mountains, slept in tents, or won prizes before age 14 as well. However, only one classmate, Heysell, had read a book by J.K. Rowling by that age.

On the other hand, many of my classmates have done these
activities too. For example, Heysell, Hellen, Karla, Lia and Rosmery had been abroad. Stephany, Estefania, Phoebe, Karla, and José, by the age of fourteen, had already eaten Japanese food. That´s so cool. I was really surprised when Génesis, Rolando, Britney, Ana, and Lia told me they had climbed a mountain. I mean, those are not the profiles I expected. With that adventure spirit I can mention people who had slept in a tent, like Alex and Dimas.
In my classroom, there also are people who had won prices
as Daineth, Nilsa, Anthony, and Angie. But there´s also a surprising fact, only one person had read a book by JK Rowling, that lone ranger is Heysell.
